Minister of Communications and IT meets with governor of Helmand Province

Shahzad Aryobee Minister of Communications and Information Technology met with the Gen. Mohammad Yassin Khan governor and a number of administrative directors of the Helmand province on Monday, December 24, 2018.

During the meeting they discussed and exchanged views on the development and telecommunication and postal services in that province.

Helmand Governor and his delegation expressing satisfaction with telecommunication services, particularly the Salaam network services in the province, asked for further enhancement the quality of telecommunication and Internet services in that province.

Minister Shahzad Aryobee said that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is planning to expand and improve the quality of telecommunication and internet services, promote the information technology services and e-government in the country.

Further he said that alongside connecting the schools through fiber optic relevant authorities have started work on expanding the fiber optic network, mobile salary payment and 3G services in Helmand province.
