The leadership of the Ministry of Communications and IT hold Online meeting with the officials of the World Bank

Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology Masooma Khavari met with Mr. Rajendra Singh Head of Digital CASA Project branch of the World Bank, to discuss the challenges and how to accelerate the project. In this meeting, after detailed discussions and sharing the views, both sides, emphasized advancing the work of the project.

The Digital CASA Project is one of the most important projects of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, which started in 2019 and will continue until 2023. With the implementation of this project, the Central Asian Fiber Optic network will be connected and expanded to South Asia through Afghanistan, making Afghanistan a transit hub for the region's Fiber Optic networks.
