Dr. Humayon Qayoumi Senior Advisor to the President Introduces Acting Minister for the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology
Newly appointed acting minister of the ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) Mohammad Fahim Hashemi was introduced to the staff members of the MCIT by Dr. Humayon Qayoumi acting minister of Finance and senior adviser on Infrastructure to the President during a special ceremony held at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology on Monday, May 27, 2019.
Members of the cabinet, members of the National Assembly, national business dealers from the private sector, ethnic elders, directors and employees of the Ministry of Communications were participants of the event.
Minister of Finance and Mr. Khan Jan alokozai who is representing the private sector, each in turn, emphasized the importance of the telecommunications sector in economic and social growth.
They expressed their satisfaction with the President's confidence on the youth and wished success to minister Hashemi in his new role.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Fahim Hashimi the acting minister of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology pledged to step up for the development of telecommunications services, improving quality, cyber security, promoting e-government and maintaining the rights of telecommunications customers and to give more chances for the involvement and growth of the private sector and will pay more attention to the transparency.
He added that he will continue the dialogue between the citizens and the ministry and is determined to improving and reducing prices of telecommunications services.
